Your Data and Different Life
We need personal data on you to be able to provide our service to you. This document gives you the whats, wheres, hows and whys.
The Summary
You can see the data we collect to do our job. You don’t have to give it to us, but then we can’t help you. We might use this to get information on you from data providers, to save you having to answer more questions. We can only get information that you have given permission to share.
When we share your data with companies who work for us, it is then only what they need to do their job, and for no other reason. When you ask us to introduce to other providers we only share the data they need to respond to you.
We keep your data as long as needed to be able to do our job for you, and to meet any legal requirements. If you do not buy cover from us we remove your personal data after 18 months, or earlier if you wish.
We, or the companies we work with, may add your data to their research base, but only in a way that means it is not personally identifiable. The research base enables us to provide better cover in future.
We may keep some of your data anonymously on our website(s) or similar technology to help us improve our service, and on your computer or mobile as part of our processing, to improve our service or to enable us to make new offers to you.
This is only a summary to give you an overview. You need to read the complete information for the full facts.
